Using Fully McFullface

Fully McFullface is currently a free tool for lawful personal or business use. The extension captures a webpage at the user’s request, lets the user add annotations and copies the finished PNG to the clipboard. No account is required.

By installing or using the extension or website, the user agrees to these terms. If the user does not agree, they should not use Fully McFullface. A person who lacks legal capacity to agree to these terms may use the service only with the permission and supervision required by local law.

Users are responsible for the webpages they capture, the information visible in them, the annotations they add and where they paste, publish or share the result. They must have any permission or lawful basis required to capture and use that material.

Permission to use the software

We give users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use Fully McFullface for its intended purpose in accordance with these terms and applicable Chrome Web Store rules. This does not transfer ownership of the extension, website, branding or source materials.

Users must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except where applicable law expressly permits that activity and does not allow it to be restricted by contract.

Acceptable use

Users must not use Fully McFullface to break the law, facilitate unlawful activity, violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights, capture material they are not authorised to access, bypass access controls, distribute malware, interfere with a service or misrepresent captured material.

Sensitive information

Webpage screenshots may contain confidential, personal or sensitive information. Users should check the finished PNG before sharing it and should use the minimum information needed for their purpose.

The charcoal Cover hides selected pixels in the copied PNG. It is not blur or pixelation. The uncensored capture remains temporarily in the open editor until copy, close or automatic cleanup, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Fully McFullface is not an archival, backup, records-management, compliance or guaranteed-redaction service. Users remain responsible for checking the finished PNG, keeping any records they need and deciding whether the image is safe and lawful to share.

Availability and product limitations

Fully McFullface is designed for finite vertical webpages in desktop Chrome. Some browser pages, infinite feeds, genuinely wide horizontal layouts, unusually large pages and complex web applications may not capture correctly or may be rejected. Oversized captures may be scaled into one safe PNG.

We will use reasonable care in providing the service, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every webpage, browser version, device or third-party service. We may fix, improve, change, suspend or discontinue features for operational, legal, security or product reasons.

Third-party services

Chrome and the Chrome Web Store are operated by Google and are subject to Google’s terms. Google does not sponsor or control Fully McFullface.

When a user pastes a screenshot into ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Lovable or another destination, the user chooses to send it to that service. That service’s own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not operate or control those services and are not responsible for their content or conduct.

Intellectual property

We and our licensors retain our respective rights in Fully McFullface and the website. Users retain any rights they already have in their own content. These terms do not give us ownership of the webpages or screenshots users capture.

Feedback may be used to improve Fully McFullface without an obligation to pay for or implement it, but this does not transfer ownership of a user’s underlying content.

Responsibility and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights relating to digital content or services.

If we fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that failure, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for loss caused by unsupported webpages, a third-party service, material a user chooses to capture or share, unauthorised use of the tool or events outside our reasonable control, unless the law says otherwise.

For users acting wholly or mainly in the course of a business, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or indirect or consequential loss. Subject to the liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, our total aggregate liability to a business user arising out of or relating to Fully McFullface will not exceed £100. These business-user limitations do not apply to consumers.

Suspension and ending use

Users may stop using Fully McFullface at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend access to the website or distribution of the extension where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse or discontinuation. Clauses that by their nature should continue after use ends, including intellectual property, responsibility and governing law, will continue.

Future paid features

These terms cover the current free version. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, cancellation, renewal, refund rights and any additional terms will be shown before purchase. Nothing will be charged without an explicit purchase decision.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the product, law, service providers or distribution model changes. The revised terms and effective date will be published here. Where a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it before the change takes effect.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If a user is a consumer, this choice does not remove any mandatory protection provided by the law of the country where they live, and they may bring a claim in any court available under that law. If a user is acting in the course of a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
