• Purpose: distinguishes visitors and maintains session state so we can understand how people find and use the website
• Duration: up to 12 months from first consent; later visits do not extend the expiry
• Consent: created only after the visitor clicks “Accept analytics”

Google Analytics may also receive page, referral, approximate location, browser, device and session information after consent. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. The website does not use advertising cookies.

Managing your choice

On a first visit, the site offers equally available “Reject analytics” and “Accept analytics” buttons. Rejecting does not limit access to the website.

Select “Analytics choices” in the footer at any time. Choosing “Reject analytics” prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading on future pages and removes the website’s first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga. Browser controls can also delete or block cookies and local storage.

The site asks again after six months so the choice remains current. If browser storage is cleared sooner, the site will ask again on the next visit.
